Dancing serves as a conduit to the heart, connecting it with the practice of joy and meaningful connections to ourselves and others. Dancing develops creative, emotional, physical and intellectual capacities and helps teach social skills that tend to cultivate a more compassionate world. Lenore’s excellence in teaching led her to be recognized as Teacher of the Year and was nominated for the prestigious Sallie Mae Award. Comfortable with any group setting, Lenore will bring to your event a passion for teaching a wide repertoire of dances and an ability to connect with young and old alike.
School Artist-in-Residence:
Lenore spends most of her time teaching and calling dances in school gymnasiums. Custom tailored to fit the needs and ages of each school, Lenore spends her day teaching and calling student dances. School residencies culminate with a family dance at the end of the week where students and parents, grandparents and other family members have the opportunity to dance together in a fun, teacher led gathering.
